Decorating Tips: Affordable Wall Prints

Are you having trouble filling up the empty wall spaces in your home? Wall decorations can be difficult to find and can get very expensive. I wanted to hang up large prints of my wedding photos in my bedroom, but when I went to order them, I took one look at the price and almost threw away the idea- notice I said "almost". Learn how to order and frame large prints for a cheap price using this easy method.
Step 1: Visit Vistaprint (Click the link below for quick and easy access and skip ahead to step 4).
Step 2: Find the tab that says "signs & posters" at the top of the website page.
Step 3: The tab menu will drop open and click on the word "posters".
Step 4: *Basically the reason your large prints will be so affordable is because they print as posters! Your posters will come in the mail rolled up in little cardboard tubes. If you like the idea of having a poster with your photograph on it rather than an actual photo print, keep on reading!
Decide whether your photograph is horizontal or vertical, choose a size, and choose whether you want matte or premium glossy as your finish. Note: premium glossy will be extra $. Matte is free.
Step 5: View price. Price will vary depending on the size you choose. Note: You would be paying double the price for regular prints anywhere else. My posters are just $20 each (24" x 36")!
Step 6: Click on the button that says "start designing" and upload the photograph you want printed.
Note: Do you want it in color or black and white? My prints were black and white- I am not sure how well they will print in color. Too much color in your photograph may cause it to come out too bright or blurry. Also, choose high quality photographs for better results. Images with low resolutions will not print well and you will be asked to choose a different image.
Step 7: Upload your image. Set your image evenly on the poster and make sure the important pieces of your photograph fall within the safety lines. Preview your poster before continuing.
Step 8: Review and approve your design. Click "next" and either sign into your vistaprint account if you have one or "continue as guest". Choose your quantity (number of prints you want), enter any promo codes you may have, choose shipping method (economy is cheapest), and order!
*For a "16 x 20" poster, you pay just $14 including shipping!

*Find poster frames almost anywhere! I bought mine from K-mart for just $10 each, but you could find them almost anywhere- Walmart, Michaels, or search for them online.
